View Full Version : Is there a way to have the program open
on the / a software object by default?
Just working on this first demo program, and when it opens, it defaults to nothing, and I then I have to click on the software object 'Coffee' which then shows the grid / list view.
I then have to click coffee again to open the object itself...
Is there a way to default to opening on an object?
and on that note, is there a way to have the software open and have the browser object showing by default?
Thanks!

Not yet but it is something I am trying to work on.

Thomas, I'm looking for this, too. And I notice that in TSB Pro itself, it opens on a specific object. Is there a way we can do this now?

Not yet Rich. I am building everything at runtime which is why it isn't working yet. I keep tweaking and hopefully we will get all of these details added. I am also working on a way to specify the order of the navigation items.

Great, Thomas, Those both will be great assets to the program!

We are getting there. This has been a work in progress for the past year. It should get all of what I wanted done within the month. After that it is just tweaking and adding based on user feedback as well as my own needs.

Will that be when you plan to launch the software fully Thomas?

That is the plan but you know how my plans go. :D
I really need to get this finished because I want to roll out with a product based on the builder. It will be a crm type of product but allow to create and run many different types of applications. The only thing you won't do is build the programs like in TSB. Similar to what you are doing with the run software.

Thomas, when I started my EasyLittleWebsites software, I thought it would be done in 4 to 6 weeks. It took 2 years! It also turned out to be much more powerful than I had originally envisioned. I suspect TSB is the same for you, taking longer, but getting so much better. Thanks for your efforts and I hope other users understand.

I already know that production will never be done on this thing. :D
I just want to get it done to a certain point where I can release the Pro version and get the new software based on the Pro version finished. That better not take me 2 years. lol
I will be limiting the Pro version to about 2k to 3k people.
