Wondering if anyone has had experience using GSA's Auto Web Submitter or Auto Software Submitter programs. They aren't cheap but seem to cover a large number of directories and search engines. Cost for a month is $52 and for a year's subscription is about $180. They claim to update submissions more than once a month. Submissions to directories provides back links, at least that's what they claim. Are there alternative sources that can be used that will generate the breath of submissions claimed by GSA?
I'd appreciate any comments or feedback on GSA or ideas about other approaches.
Thanks,
John B

Hi John,
I can't help you with the Auto Web Submitter. I have used software submission tools. I found Robosoft to be the best. That is my opinion of course.
Here is a cheaper one but with less directories.

There is also Promosoft which is pretty good.
Either way, they are all cheaper than $52 a month.
They do provide back links. I can't tell if those back links have helped any or not to be honest. lol
I will be updating my subscription to Robosoft this month so I can do more submissions. There is a monthly fee after 6 months but it is pretty small (I think $16 a month). Basically you can pay for a month here and there when you use it (after you purchased it for $100).
Hopefully this made sense. :)

I have recently bought PADbot from Incansoft,
its a software submitter also, got it for under $30,
a one time fee... I havent used it yet, but will let
you know how it works as soon as I submit my first
software...
Submissions to directories provides back links,
Yes, that will create backlinks to your site... whether the search engines
count them or devalue them is up to the individual SE...
But more importantly, I plan on giving out a free version on those directories,
with links embedded into the software, etc.. to try and make back end sales,
upsell to full verison, etc.... thats where the value of he submitting is for me,
not so much backlinks.. I already have backlink campaigns to websites,
adding a few software directories wont hurt...
