View Full Version : A nice feature to have if possible...
would be the ability to prevent the mini window / maximize window ability of the frame.
You know how some programs dont allow you to resize the window? That's what I'm referring to.
That way the layout always looks the exact same, and people arent stretching it out to ways you didnt intend it to look.
Just a thought! Lovin this program's abilities Thomas, amazing work!

Thanks Dexx,
I am looking into allowing you to set the size of the windows. I am torn because I want to make it easy to use but also allowing you to customize with a great deal of functionality.

I vote for the ability to customize a lot. It is like every other piece of software. The functionality is there, but most people don't use it. However, once they get better with the software, they tend to do the more complicated things and do start using the extra functions.
People will initially create basic software and may not understand the extra functions, nor should they have to use them if they don't need to, but as they get more experienced, they will start understanding the difference the extra functionality would add to software and then they would begin to experiment with it.
It's a natural learning progression. It won't be long before the beginners (us :) ) will be looking for the extra functions.
I agree, I view this software as almost a Photoshop of programming!
The basic beginners will learn to do simple stuff like crop and cut, erase, and clone stamp imperfections
and then the more advanced and experienced will do all kinds of crazy stuff with it!
I think as long as enough videos/tutorials/support exists for each major function of the program (just the gazzillion photoshop tutorials out there) people will be fine :)
and of course that will build with time too!
