Questions about Captions

Hello,

As a new user os TSB Express I have a question.

I have followed Thomas demo to make a wordprocessor software, and I have a question.
In the software object window there is a caption field where Thomas entered Word Document.

What kind of other Caption can be put in here ?

This question may sound stupid, but it would help me to know what kind of software I'll be able to build with TSB Express

A caption is just what it says, a caption.
You can put whatever you want in that field, and thats how it is shown in the software.
The property editor controls what type of field it is.
The caption is your name for it.

Hi Hubert,


A caption is just text that explains the control. Like you have a text field that you want people to use for a person's first name. You would set the caption to First Name. It tells the user what type of data is suppose to go there.
