HI,
Can you upload or use your own images/icons vs the default icons when creating software objects? IF so, how do I go about it?
Thanks

This has already been discussed on the forum. :)
No, there is no way to add images for software objects.
Thanks,

Thomas,
If you have the time, can you add in some images on the next release that are food and fitness related. Maybe some fruit, cake, dinner plate icons, and then perhaps an exercise machine, stick figure running, etc? More animals (domestic ) pets woudl be good as well!
Thanks

I would like to see more icons in TSB as well. This will give all of our software more uniqueness from our own
projects and make them different from a competitor who may just happen to also be using TSB for a similar
type of software.

Thomas,
I see you don't say anything about add a funtionality for upload our own software object's images.
I'm a bit surprised this is not in place already, since it's a must, and you've done much more complex features here. It's a policy matter, maybe?
I think using a resource editor to replace the images in the final exe could do the trick in the meantime...

You don't even know how the images work so I don't know why you think this is an easy task. How do you plan on adding images as a resource at runtime? Not to mention managing them by allowing adding and deletions. You are manipulating compiled dlls at runtime. Not to mention manipulating compliled dlls while you are using them.
I have already stated I would look into this in the other thread. Sorry, it isn't something that will be easy to put together and will require analysis.

Thomas,
Sorry, you're right: I've not an idea about how difficult it could be. I just gave you an opinion.
About the resource's editor, I'm referring to change the images the software use. I've done this several times for other software, but only with icons and descriptions. I don't know if it could work for exe's generated by TSB.
I didn't opinion about what you should do and how you do, but commenting in a possible solution we can use until the functionality is in place. But, sincerely, I don't know if this work since I didn't tested it yet.
Thanks for considerating this new feature -I didn't know you said it'll implemented in the future- and hope it be not too much hard work for you.

I definitely want to include this as much as you want it. :) I have an idea already but need some free time to further develop it. It should work but will still require further analysis in regards to how to include it with what we already have.
This stuff becomes more and more tricky when trying to add it to an already created program without major changes. hehe
