Thomas,

was just reading this article and wasn't sure what SaaS
was, then looked it up.. and wondered if/how this would affect us a developers,
software creators, etc..

It really shouldn't affect us at all.

Most SaaS are web bases applications. We can do the same with desktop software. It is just a pricing model.

While the internet has come a long way, I don't see it replacing desktop software like we create. At least, any time soon. There is a lot of power at affordable prices when purchasing computers these days. That allows use better and more usable tools on the desktop that can't be replaced with the web.

I do see desktop software being more interactive with the internet which is exactly where we are going with TSmaker.
