Questions about automatic updates

I saw an option in the software model called "Update URL" and thought the app would offer an update when initialized if it's in the directory we set up there.

However, I uploaded an update to this directory but the app doesn't suggest the update.

Am I doing something wrong? Is not for that this function, maybe?

That is for the installation. If you look in your add/remove programs you will see that information there.

Sorry, no automatic updates. :)

I'll add this to my wish list later, but only after you're finished the automation part, which I'm more interested in.
