Hi Thomas,
First off, love the Auto Column feature mate - makes things look really
neat and tidy :D.

FORGET THE REST. . I DUNNO WHAT I DID BUT IT'S ALL WORKING
AS IT SHOULD. Guess I got up too early this morning and didn't have
enough coffee before starting my laptop!!!!

Now for the bummer.

In Expert when I select Layout View from the Grid View
Type and run my app, the layout will show but I am unable to
customize it at all. The layout only shows 2 editors, the default
and a calculated editor. When I go to the customize window none
of the other editors in the object are listed.

I am also unable to open any records in the object by double
clicking on the layout view unless I change the size in the customize
area to something much larger. When I close and run the software
again the layout has reverted back to it's original size.

Further update

Thomas,
it seems that this is also happening in the Grid View. I just changed
an object from having View All checked to Unchecked and the only
editors that appear in the initial list are the default and the calc. This
is regardless of whether or not I have selected grid visibility in the
editor. I can go to the add option and add any of the editors to the
list and then drag them onto the grid. However, after closing and
running the app again, I end up with no grid headers and the
correct number of blank rows for records in the table/object.

Cheers
Jim

P.S. If this is too confusing let me know and I'll put together a
video for you. :)

I really never worked well and needs to be redone.

Did you click the add button on the customization window?

Thomas,
If you mean the Add button in the card layout view, there isn't one.
The only button is a greyed out "Show More Cards" button.

It did crap out on me again after I said everything was ok.
But if it needs reworking I might just leave it alone for the time being.

Thanks
Jim
