Thomas did you get your RAP script working? I'm kinda lookin at it, but it's still almost 300 with the membership attachment, so I was wondering your opinion and if you have an affiliate link.

Thanks for the info

I am working on it right now. I picked it up for 229 before the price went up.

I think I am going to like it. It is a little bit of a pain the way they set up the products. You have to upload a different set of templates for each product. I really don't understand why they did it that way. I am seriously thinking of hiring a php programmer to create something similar. I think this could be made more user friendly.

I will let you know when I have it set up. I am working on putting all my products over to RAP. There is a lot of files to edit in order to do this.

Remind me again whats so great about RAP vs just using PayPal / PayDotCom / ClickBank (given the thousands and thousands of affiliates constantly searching through those marketplaces)

Your affiliates get paid instantly instead of having to wait for a check. RAP works with Paypal. I don't know about PayDotCom but ClickBank doesn't pay you instantly but sends you checks (direct depost as well) every so often.

It is a huge incentive for affiliates knowing they can get the money instantly by sending traffic to your product.

Ah I see!

I believe PayDotCom pays you instantly into your PayPal account, but I could be wrong.

Thanks for the clarification tho!

As a merchant on paydotcom, you are paid immediately as your products sell, because the payment goes into your paypal account. There is a 3.00 charge for every sale on top of the paypal charge. However, it is up to the vendor to pay their affiliates. Usually through paypal. Most vendors wait for their guarantee period to be up before they pay affiliates. Usually 30 days.

Technically the affiliates are not supposed to be able to buy through their own link, but it happens all the time. Personally I like to have customers become affiliates and make money, and not have people buy the product through their own link just to save money. Although there's nothing wrong with saving money :D
