Hey T, an old bug has resurfaced...
My beta testers are reporting being able to "right click" and "customize layout" in the COMPILED exe versions of the software.
1. Has this already been reported?
2. When can an update be expected?
3. What are tomorrow's winning lottery numbers?
Merry Christmas to all...

I will check it out.
It is Christmas time, right now. I will get an update out when I get one ready.

I'm using Pro 2.1.0.02 and none of my compiled apps allow customize on right click on the detail pages except for the function tab on the 'embedded' related objects, but I believe that is normal. Just FYI!

Thanks Mark, I think my system just doesn't like ME, LOL.
For some reason, my copy is still doing it. I even uninstalled and reinstalled. I still get the "customize" option when right clicking within the compile exe.
Thomas, just a little more info on this:I uninstalled latest version of TSB and reinstalled older version. It does NOT happen in exe's created by older version of TSB Pro, HOWEVER, when I re-brand using one of my PLR rebranders, the newly branded exe DOES allow customizing of layout within the exe.
I even re-downloaded the updated versions of the TSB and TSB PLR Brander and reinstalled those and now I am back to having "customize layout" option within my compiled apps (exe's).

I too was going to report this bug. My compile apps in the latest version of TSBE allow customization if I right click in the details view of the software.

I am assuming you don't have customization checked?

Hey T, first off, Happy New Year to you and all the TSB users out there...
Secondly, I hate to say it, especially on another Holiday, BUT, TSB is still allowing compiled apps to be "customized', HOWEVER, it is now only doing it in what would normally be the grid area when I use the "Show List and Detail" option... It does NOT do it in the actual data entry screen...
Any thoughts?

You mean detail area when in list and detail view? Also, is this before you create a new record.
This must have been happening all along.

Fixed. I will upload a new version sometime this week.
This must have been a old bug. There is no way it was working prior to that latest releases.

I don't know how it worked before. haha
It was giving an error and I can understand why.
Either way, good catch! We just made it a little better today. Time for drinks.
Edited: I think I will upload the fix today. This is pretty important fix and I want everyone to make money and not blame me. :)

Mail merge is now working correctly.
Fixed repair.
Restore now does a check to see if it is the correct software backup. It will not allow you to install a backup from a different program.
Customizations in compiled software is fixed.Wow, T, looks like you went through MY personal "Tell Thomas about..." list, LOL...

Seriously though, this was one of my beta testers' #1 concern after 1 of them mentioned it on my beta tester forum and then dozens of them said they had the same problem...
Apparently I need some smarter testers, eh, LOL...
