Hi Thomas, :)
I was having some trouble building one application, so I decided to do some testing to see what I was doing wrong, and I found out a couple of things.

The combo box editor is kinda working backwards or wrong. The captions for the editors dropdown are really not used. The item value is being used in the dropdown, and on the grid. The captions are not shown anywhere.
I was assuming that if you used a checkbox editor, and you added some property items at the bottom, that they would each show up as a checkbox. Wrong, only the main caption at the top is used. And a check box on the grid for that answer.

So just an fyi for you on the combo box, and I guess I learned a couple things I've been trying to do wrong.

Hi Steve,

Yeah it was put into the software at the last minute and I didn't do a good job with it. The next release will only have one text box that you will put your value. It will also work the same for Radio Buttons.

Are you talking about radio button or checkbox? I think you meant radio buttons and that will be fixed in the next release. It is already fixed, I am just trying to get some other things in the next release before I update you guys. I should have it out in a week.

No, I was talking about the dropdown box or combo box as its called in the software, is no. 1
And the other is the check box editor, but that was just me.
The radio editor works fine.

Sorry Steve. I thought I was smarter. hehe

The Property items only relates to radio groups and combo boxes. :)

I am focusing all of next week on more documentation and videos besides fixing any problem areas.

heh Tink I'm just finally getting into it now since I'm on days off now!

I figure "enough software brainstorming, more software practicing!"

But I must say Thomas, once a person plays around with this software it is definitely amazingly fast and easy to create new layouts / projects in a heartbeat!

I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft comes and offers to buy this off of you or something!

Great to hear. There is a learning curve and I was a little worried it would be too hard but really wanted to keep this easy but powerful. The more power and options the more to learn. It is a hard line to walk.

You haven't seen anything yet Dexx. I have a lot more coming. :)

Hi Thomas,

Do you have any plans to make the combo box (drop down) items editable? It would be great if we could offer a pre-populated list along with the opportunity for the end-user to add/delete items to that list.
