Thomas is it possible to have a field with a button the end of it so if someone enters a web address and clicks the button, it takes them there?

EG if I create an affiliate tracking software, the user enters their main affiliate login address, and other details. When saved, they can pick their affiliate program they want to check, open that record and click the button and be taken there.

Does this make sense?

I will look into creating a special field for website address as well as email addresses with a button you can click to open both of them.

Awesome. That functionality would fit right into an idea I'm having :)

I should be able to sneak that into the next update. :)

Thomas, Thanks for adding the new Website Editor to the Pro Version. It is cool but confuses me. I type a website address in the field and click the button and nothing happens. But I seem to double-click the text (where I entered the web address) and that opens my browser to that page.

Couple of questions:

1. How do I make the button work?

2. Is there a way to get it to open the page in the default browser instead of opening Internet Explorer? (Firefox users want to know!)

That is a bug then Rich.

I can't open Firefox without getting an error.

A bug

I thought it was just hyperlinked text and the button was just there to screw with me

I think you only need to click on the text once and it opens a browser

If I wanted to screw with you I would have set the button to open a picture of me. :D
