Facebook Related App Ideas?

Guys can you think of any facebook related app ideas?

guys I was just indulging in a brain storming session - I realized something:

a) a person can create a "general" utility tool (even if you are targeting the IM niche) and still get a lead + create some good will.

I mean what do "calendars" have to do with search engines? Well the Big G created alot of little and useful apps like that which keep them in front of prospect so they can share the marketing message.

So I think for instance if you are targetting a specific niche you can also use TSB/ESB to create general productivity tools, organization tools, even document generation tools (Jim is great with this).

The point is, if you're like me you're trying to mold a "development' strategy so you can have a few boiler plate objects and churn out software quickly.

One question I keep asking myself is this: if you can figure out a repetitive or regular task your ideal prospects do on a regular basis, then build a tool for that - you can stay in front of them all the time which = getting your offer in front of them!! For example I am seeing alot of document, image and video related tools on download.com getting SO much attention....

ATM it's kind of a closed eco system isn't it?

Have to see what Thomas comes up with the web scraping bits, maybe then some app to scrape off the 'best bits' of your wall or group scraping or advertising research maybe?

I haven't really looked at it enough, wrong generation I think :) For my kids though it's their primary means of communication, that's the one and only reason I have an account.

Yes, most people want to be more organised and less dependant on things jotted down on disparate notepads or scraps of paper. Give them some sort of significantly helpful repository for that and it has a chance of staying open while they work.

Shola, I am not entirely sure what you are asking. Are you trying to create apps that run on facebook?

In terms of ESB, Facebook is just another marketing device for your software.
