How About A break out page from a editor? [Archive]

Would it be possible to be able to have a break out page from a editor? Example: $25.00 Break out page Shipping $5.00, Wrapping $5.00, My Wife's Cut $15.

Example: Persons Name Breakout Memo editor, Text editor, etc.

Just thought I would ask????

Hi Roland,

I am not sure what you mean by break out page. Do mean a new window?

Yes, another page that relates to the field in the first page with the ability to use editors on the second page too. I hope that explains it better.

Hi Roland,

I am putting together a way to do something like this in the Pro version. It will allow you to relate different software objects. It won't work exactly like you wanted but will allow you to relate different data. The data will be shown within a grid.

Ahhh I see now, a form that you fill out that puts a "calculated" value back into the main form.

I could see something like that being useful in the financial niches I've been looking to enter...

Yes, you can have objects that work similar to what Roland wanted. You just need to describe the relationships between objects and the software will do the rest. The relationships will be in the next release of the Pro version. I have been using it for awhile and it works really nicely.

So Roland could make a object that is about the calculations and create the relationship with his other software object to get an effect like that.
