Is there a way to pre-load the word doc

You know how when you test the software prior to building it, any records you create are also built into the actual .EXE installer when the program is installed.

Is there a way to do the same with the information in the word document object in advance?

I was thinking a "sales copy" template for the editor to give to my list, and then they could just fill in the blanks...and then export the page as html etc.

is that possible somehow currently?

Why wouldn't you create the document in the software when you are doing the layout and before you build it? Then it should be there after you build the exe.

I mean each time a record is created the template is there, like an auto-filled in template when a new record is made...

not so much just an "example" template.


Kind of like a "Wedding Invitation Builder" software type idea, where multiple cover-letters could be made, with a pre-filled template, you know?

This question is not that different from what I was asking about the other day.

My idea could be modified to work in the format you referred to earlier. A template style.

Did you ever figure out the answer to your question? If so, what was the resulting solution?

Mail merge or reports will be able to take care of that. You can create something like that with the reports. I still want to add the mail merge, in the Pro version, because it is easier to format with the word processor.
