Thomas sent me a copy of tiger software builder pro. and I'm working through the software tutorials. I figured I'd follow along and build the word processor along with Thomas and learn the work flow but I'm still having trouble.

First I didn't have any generic Icons. Thanks to Dexx I was able to download a whole bunch. Now what?

Does the software set up it's on directory structure somewhere on the hard disk where things like Icons are stored or do I configure a directory structure manually?

Is there a configuration tab somewhere to let the software know what goes where?

After I downloaded the icons I found I didn't have any prebuilt software objects.

Do I have to build everything from scratch? If so is there a tutorial to show me how

and where do I find the smallest building blocks like text boxes, buttons, etc?

Am I still missing something?

Hi Paksao,

When you create a Software Object, you will have a tab for the editors that will be your text items, number items and other editors. Just keep adding what you need.

Now, there are some prebuilt templates that will have editors already in place. That is the field called Object Type on your SOftware Object window.

I am working on a very big manual right now which hopefully will explain it better.

Don't forget to watch the videos on the main page which will show how you do it.

Thanks,

Thomas
