View Full Version : Software ideas from courses

I like to purchase courses in the niche I am working on just to keep up to date on new techniques or just to see what the competition is doing.

A lot of times it helps me generate ideas for software. Normally I can find at least one software idea that I can create from reading one niche related course.

If it is a system they are selling than it should be something that software could be used to help manage.

And think about Private Label Rights you get to courses ... depending on the rights ... you could create a software product that helps someone do or track what the plr product is about... bundle it up and you've got a packaged solution!

Or create software and load it up with the plr content, and you're selling it in a whole new way.

I hope people don't overlook that comment Rich. I think packaging existing content within a piece of software will make it more valuable.

I have been wanting to do this but you people have made me too busy with all these enhancements. :D

I couldn't agree more...

I was looking at one of my old PLR purchases (a report with tons of Niche Based links and details), which caused me to think (i hate when that happens)...

I created a "bookmark" type system and filled it with the links and details and will soon be selling it as a "Software Resource Package" which will enable buyers to use the links within the software as well as add any new sites they may come across themselves...

I then wrote a simple PHP script which enables the user to export the data to an excel file, import the details into their online database and they will then be able to view their "resource list" from any computer in the world...

I discussed this "product idea" with a few colleagues, and I have already received 4 pre-paid "registrations" which more than covered the time it took to whip out the software and corresponding PHP script...

People say all the time "think outside the box"... and I always reply with "why not just enhance what's already inside the box? (sometimes it's easier that way)"

jonathon is a monster. He has about 3 projects done and he just got the software a couple of weeks ago. Than again he doesn't sleep for days. lol

Great job jonathon.

Hey Thomas, I think you said it best in one of your other posts (at least I think it was you)... "sleep? what's that?" heheh
