That is right. You can actually create a physical software product with TSB.

You can change the installation build, burn it to a cd and send it off in the mail. Or just give the files to a service that does that sort of thing.

This may also help on refunds because you would require them to send it back.

There is a service at http://kunaki.com/ that will do all your creation, packaging, etc for around 1.75 per cd/dvd.

I just copy a bunch of cds at a time, print my own custom labels and stick them on the cds, place them into the cheap, small paper mailers and as people buy, all I have to do is write their address on the mailer and drop them into the mail. This way, I don't have to follow the whole procedure each time I make a sale.

You can get the supplies on Ebay. I charge 3 dollars for shipping and postage. Which is about what it works out to cost me. If you charge too much, you lose sales. When people buy 3 or more products, I ship free to them.

There is no need to ship in boxes with bubble wrap and fancy jewel cases. People just want the cd and it ships well in just the paper mailer. The postage to ship within the USA is .59 No insurance needed either. You can reship the cd if the customer fails to get it. This has been working well for me. I had to find some kind of system because of Ebays rules.

And, you can add all kinds of bonuses to the cd. I always like to include some bonuses that I didn't tell them they would get. Really good stuff like resources they can use and not some outdated get rich quick ebooks. This makes for happy customers.

On each cd, you can place your code to get people to join your mailing list. Put some kind of upsell on the cd.

You should make each cd so that it runs itself and opens when the customer places it in their computer. Easy to do. If you don't, you will have some customers emailing you and wanting to know how to "make the cd work". When the cd runs, make it open a page with everything explained for them. Including how to open a .zip if they need to. And, how to open a .pdf. Don't assume anything when considering your customers. They will range from those that know much more than you do to those that know only how to turn on the computer and check their email.

In most cases, my customers get an instant download that I send through DLGuard. They like that too. If you hesitate a day before you send them the cd, you will usually know that they like the product and avoid actually mailing a cd to someone that you are having to refund.

These are just some things I have learned. Some of you may know a better way. It may sound confusing, but it is easy to do and costs little. And, I have had no complaints. So far.

Thanks,
Alton

You should be able to do that with TSB. Just change from webexe to I think it is cd. I can't remember off the top of my head. Just burn those files to a cd and it should start the installation straight away.

I was looking at kunaki myself, which allows you to automate the whole thing. You can even charge and extra 10 bucks for a cd when you are selling a downloadable item. ;)

I know this can help people selling on Ebay where they made it tougher for downloadable items.

One thing about Kunaki, it's automated. If your gone on holidays, etc., your customers don't have to wait until you get back. Kunaki takes care of it for you. You can't automate enough.

That is the only way to do it Mike. It allows you to continue growing your business.

Either automate or hire someone else to do it.

Maybe I can get Taylor to do it. :D

But I'm going to be too busy making money. I'm going to use Kunaki, especially with offline customers and their customers. :D
