I purchased the software back when I first purchased TSB Pro, and I'm trying to figure out if there's an easy way to create the accounts for the sites listed on the 'Accounts' page as there is no build in account creation and no links to go to the site directly to register.

It's only about 50 sites out of 800, but still that's 50 sites I could be submitting software to!

(On a sidenote the developer says automatic account creation will be in the next update...but who knows how long that'll be!)

Dexx,
That sounds like a project. Create a TSBPro App that goes to those 50
signup pages directly. Become Promosoft Affiliate
(if there is suc a thing) and offer your new app as a bonus.

Dexx, try to hire someone on Elance to create those accounts. It shouldn't cost you that much.

Robosoft creates the accounts for you. :)

@tumin: The problem with that Tumin is that TSB does not yet have such capability...
@dexx: if you are interested in partnering up on a script which will perform such a task, PM me...

I only purchased a 1 year subscription for promosoft, but I didn't think to try out the 30 day trial of Robosoft.

I'll download it and try doing my next submission with it, see which one I like better!

Though the subscription feature of Robosoft basically makes it a yearly $96 cost (not a big deal but still!) heh

Promosoft as a subscription as well from my understanding. You really want a subscription for this type of thing because the directories change and you want the creators to update the directories for the software.

Instead of thinking it will cost me $96 a year think about selling a couple of software licenses that will pay for it. No big deal. :)

Thomas did you ever try promosoft to compare the two?

I was going to try it out until I found out it wasn't a fully functional version like Robosoft has. I tried Robosoft and liked it.

Ya just going through the features of Robosoft it is definitely very impressive, I think I only purchased Promosoft as Chris Rempel mentioned he used it in his software marketing efforts (it was a regular promo link too, non-aff)

But I know when I email support at develabs they take months to respond, and last I heard from them they said the next big update would have automatic account creation...

well if Robosoft has that, then I'm good to go!

Plus I usually only get a 50% success rate with Promosoft when I do submissions and I find I still have to do manual category selection even though they claim it can automatically do it with fast categories!

So who knows, I'll download Robosoft and play it with this weekend.

I'm curious to try out the Press Release functionality, see if that helps with traffic / links at all too!

IS Robosoft still the best software to submit software with?

It is the one I liked. I can't say if it is the best or not.

I wouldn't expect a lot from submissions. I think you need to start looking at generating traffic to sales pages and working on your conversions. Otherwise, you will continue to spin your wheels without any sales to show for it.

Yes, it is a learning curve getting traffic and getting people to buy but it is something everyone had to go through.

The good news is that software is normally an easier sell.
