Hey All,
I just did a check on my main site out of curiosity to see how many backlinks I had been able to gather since creating it and linking my software submissions back to it.
Currently after 2-3 months of submissions I have over 1,800 backlinks to my site!
Now keep in mind 95% are from software sites, and most have 0 - None for PR...
but I'm currently ranked #1 for the phrase: Unique Internet Solutions (without quotes even!)
That is out of 12,100,000 results on Google.
Now keep in mind WITH quotes there's only 5,100 competing websites (and its not exactly a high searched phrase)
but still...kind of cool for bragging rights...AND marketing potential to business owners wanting proof of my Guru SEO styles haha!
But I'm just wondering...are the links from software sites really gonna help with PR when the updates come, or even just with ranking for keywords period?
Has anyone used the software submission site links to gain significant rankings for profitable keywords yet? (Thomas maybe you can comment on your experiences?)
Cheers,
~Dexx
