How do we find JV partners?

Hi I am just wondering how do you find JV partners with newsletters and email lists?

Look within the niche of your product for those with a lot of influence of that group.

i.e.

Car Maintenance Software Program -> Car Forums, Writer of Car Info Products etc.

Approach them and let them know you have a new program that will help make taking car and tracking repairs and enhancement modifications to cars much much easier and you would like to work on a launch with them...

tell them the software will improve their relationship with their own lists as being very useful etc.

and in exchange they will be earning a substantial portion of the affiliate sales

I think Dex answered it well.

You just need to use google and search in your niche.

The top sites probably have lists and will let you advertise, forums should appear pretty high up in the rankings too (just don't spam them).

Forum owners may be good jv partners.

Sign up for lists on the top 50 sites and see how they market. Some might allow paid insertion or entertain an affiliate deal.

Just use google based on your niche and keywords related to it.

(I am NOT knocking Dexx's suggestion, as that is certainly a VERY good approach as well, I am merely stating that you can find some great JV opps right within the warrior forum)...

If its a high quality list or a list from a well known guru you may have to sweeten the JV deal. Offer your JV partner to write for the newsletter, create videos, add forum's post, etc. You could also offer a discount on your software for your partner's subscribers.
