Need Feedback

I could use some feedback on something. I am thinking of changing the flow of TSB. Right now you can create your own library of Software Objects which is kind of nice. I do think this is giving people trouble in figuring this out.

I was thinking of changing the process which would kill the reusability of the Software Objects. You would basically have to create new Software Objects for each Software Project.

Do you like being able to reuse these Software Objects or this is something you really are not using?

Thomas, I beg you not to get rid of the software objects. I find it tremendously essential in the way I create my products. Once you get the hang of the software, they really are an essential part of the system as a whole... IMO anyways...

I agree with jonathon. I like the software objects. :)

It really helps in designing apps faster when you can create software objects once and then reuse them in your next projects.

You have built in there an economics of scale that would greatly reduce long term efficiency if that ability was removed.

yeah, what Pyce just said (er, I think, heheh)... Seriously tho, I implore you NOT to get rid of the objects.
That functionality is what enables me to create literally dozens of apps each week. Now if I could find a way
to create that many sales pages that quickly, I would be all set, heheheh...

Agreed, don't reduce functionality over a few people finding something confusing.

Having to re-create highly used objects repeatedly would become redundant and very boring.

Object oriented programing is popular for a reason :P

I agree 100%. Reusing the objects really speeds things up and when you know that objects are exactly the same, you can use the same chapters in your user manual, which is fantastic :D

Seriously tho, I really didn't even think of that... Thanks waller, you just made a few of my manuals a little easier for me... :)

I wasn't planning on getting rid of the Software Object. :)

Just the library effect created that allows you to reuse the objects. I will not do that then since people are using it the way it was intended.

I am glad you're not going to remove the library effect that would have been really bad.
I am really just now getting the hang of the builder :) It's not to hard if you just play with it a little while.

I fully agree. There's only so much time in a day and if I need to create new objects when I could reuse one, well, you know, it would take too much time :)
