Thomas I added a Organization type object into my project, and didn't like the way I customized the layout, so thought I'd just start over with it. I deleted it from the project and went to re-insert it and got errors it was already there. So instead of recording this error, which just points to a temp file (Windows Vista) I ignored it. :)
I finally got it back in the project, but now get an error saying the project already contains a definition for Contacts, and again pointing to a temporary file pyrh3oqf.0.cs(373,20) which is supposed to be in the AppData\Local\Temp folder. Anyways, I can't find this temp folder/file to delete it.
Then I deleted Contacts again, and it deleted, but still shows up in the software. So it is stuck in the temp file somewhere that I need to delete.
Of course the whole problem boils down to it not being properly deleted from the project :)
I set up the Vista to show hidden files, but still don't see the problem folder.
Thanks.

Thanks.Hey Mike, I am not sure if this will help or not, however, the last time that happened to me, I had to empty my PC's cache and temp files and this seemed to fix it, for me anyways... IF you do try that, let me know if it works for you. Thanks.

Hi Mike,
I have had the same problem trying to delete a project. The first time I deleted all of TSB Pro and started all over again with new program. I also deleted the TSB file in C:Programs directory. Then I re- installed TSBPro again and everything was fine until I tried to delete a project again. Then I had the same problem again but now have too many projects just to start over. Just uninstalling and re-installing TSBPro will not fix the problem because it remains in the TSBfile. So, what I have done is to detach all objects from the bad project and changed it's name to BADPROJECT and have ignored it. Just like you said the problem is in the project area. You are unable to delete projects! All of my new projects and older projects work fine though. I hope this info helps.

Yes, the problem is a temp file holding the data, because even though I did get the Contacts deleted, it still shows up in the software when running it. How did you delete the cache and temp file in Vista? I've been using XP until last week.

Roland I'm just deleting an object in the project, not the complete project. As I said above, it is a temp file somewhere, just gotta find it :)

I found the temp folder. It was not in the Vista temp directory like Vista said, it was in the TSB Professional directory and had a name like ac18b7d9-0e8f-4b70-a7c1-c2daa19fa83e. I deleted it and all is well :)
I thought I looked there before, but I had looked in the old Tiger Software Builder directory. Seems I also have the old version installed and forgot about it.

You shouldn't have to delete the contents of that folder. It will kill your layouts when you do that. I am trying to come up with a better way of saving the layouts.
I will test it out some more and see if I can recreate the deletion problems.

Thanks Thomas. I'm pretty sure I deleted things when running XP and only noticed the problem the other day after upgrading to Vista.
