Colour selection editor?

Thomas can you explain what the colur selection editor would be used for? I see it gives a value for the colour, but can that be applied to something in the program?

It just keep track of the color you choose.

If I wanted to store a color theme for a website or piece of art, I could use this to store the different colors I would be using.

Or if you and the misses decided on a baby, you can store the bedroom colors. :D
