This is the same formula I will be using for my new product that expands many markets.

Choose a popular software product within your market or niche.

This has to be something that people search on by name.

Get some ideas of this software by downloading the trial version. Most products carry a trial version.

Create your own version using TSB Express or Pro. It doesn't have to be better or have more functionality.

Setup a adwords account, msn or yahoo. You will be bidding on the name of the competitor software. You can use many different transitions of the name based on your keyword research. A lot of times, people will search for the software name and a particular year.

Have your PPC links go to a review page that will show the product that is already popular in the market and your product. I would also use screen shots. More than likely, your software will look better and easier than the competition. This is from my experience.

If the popular software has a affiliate program than sign up and use that in your review page just in case the person still purchased that program.

You can then expand your keywords to include the content network and so on...

Now, by using the keyword of the competitive software, you will be getting a majority of buyers. These are people that are searching for a specific product. This is a goldmine waiting for you to tap into it.

Don't be afraid of large niches. Even a little traffic from them will bring in massive amounts of sales.

There are so many markets and software programs that you can do with this that you should be making hundreds of thousands if not more. I was showing my wife my plans for marketing this new product of mine and she got really excited. She doesn't know anything about marketing but still understood the power behind this technique.

No excuses boy and girls and of course blondie. :)

Go get them and make me proud!

This sound like a very good plan based around a review site to explode the sales... hmm good thinking Thomas and thanks for sharing the idea :)

Not really got much time to dive into TSB yet, so i guess i have a long learning curve first to know what i can and can't do with TSB.

Hi Wiz,

I am using this exact same strategy to build a multi million dollar business. :)

The great thing about TSB is it provides software for people to run businesses. That makes huge opportunities for us. It isn't as fancy as making video submission software for internet marketers but the markets TSB caters to is a lot larger and more profitable.

I just wish more internet marketers realized this. A lot seem to limit themselves to that niche for some reason. I really don't understand it myself.

HEY THOMAS!!! Did you hack into my blog drafts? I just finished writing an article this morning which pretty much explained
the same concepts and formulas. It is still set to a draft because I am preparing a video walk-through as well as part of an
upcoming series of videos I will be doing...

I guess great minds really do think alike, eh? (Too bad you and I aren't part of THAT community cuz then we could really kick some major ass - heheh)

What can we do, Jonathon? We are pretty and smart all on one package. hehe

I think your videos will be awesome for people. There are so many opportunities with this that one doesn't have to worry about competition. In face, people should be developing relationships with each other to tackle major niches just because you can cross promote each others products.

Just like the gurus do in the internet marketing niche.

What can we do, Jonathon? We are pretty and smart all on one package. heheMY wife said "speak for yourself Thomas" and I started to chuckle, until I realized that was a slap in MY face, heheh...

I think your videos will be awesome for people. Thanks, I am also getting started on a "series" this week which will let others "watch over my shoulder" as I go through my ritual of coming up with ideas for new apps. They will be able to see exactly what I do, where I go, how and what I research and so on... I think people will really like this as it will be a "growing" series. Best of all, after I have quite a few videos set up, I will be able to turn around and package them up to offer them as "bundled sets" as well as offer physical shippment (DVD).

There are so many opportunities with this that one doesn't have to worry about competition. You know, my wife and I were just talking about this. There are literally MILLIONS of opportunities out there. I just amazes me in all honestly. Plus, if anyone knows how to program in PHP or even CGI or ASP, that opens a whole new aspect of the same market by allowing them to create "Web Apps" along side of their software apps (enabling them to market to Mac and Linux users as well, which are both growing exponentially, you know)... In fact, seeing as my core business used to be PHP/MySQL programming, I just started promoting a "Web Apps" services a few days ago and I have literally got an inbox full of "more info" requests

In face, people should be developing relationships with each other to tackle major niches just because you can cross promote each others products.OK now Thomas, you are REALLY starting to freak me out...

Why?

The title of another one of the articles in my "Drafts" folder... "How Cross Promotion Can Be Beneficial To You, Your Business and Your Wallet". I am checking my log files now and I swear, if I see your IP just once, I am changing my password asap... ;)
