I am not sure if this request has been made already (too lazy to look right now), but it would be killer if trials could be TIME based (hourly, not just daily), rather than just "usage" based. I limit my trials to 3 or 5, however, sometimes, users forget about it after just 1 day and don't get back to it for another week or so...
For example, I had downloaded a trial of an app the other day and it was a 1 hour trial, yes, 1 HOUR... which was more than enough time to determine if I wanted to buy the app...
I think a TIME based trial period will create more sales because I am sure many others feel like I did when "trying" an application...
Another example... games... my kids (and what kids don't) love Big Fish games... before i purchase a game for them, they have to download the trial to make sure they will like it and not just waste money I don't have... (which they are always so willing to do, :))
The games all include a 1 hour trial, which is more than enough time to tell whether you like it or not...
I think using the same concept with TSB software would have a positive affect (or is it effect?) on sales...
