Help File Not Installing

I finished completing the Help File for my software project using screen steps and then exported in pdf. In the project area help file I inserted the link to the PDF. Created the sodtware without problems. The program installed without any errors. The program runs fine but I am unable to open the help files.

I have created the program twice, uninstalled the program and reinstalled the two creations but still no help file. The help file is 75 pages at this point.

When using sceen steps I used the default for creating the PDF.

Any suggestions of something I am missing.

Hey Roland, first off, the help files will not show when you INSTALL and run the software (just like the EU would have to do) or do you mean when you use the "Run Software" button within TSB?

If the latter, you must compile the software (yes, I know you said you did), then install the app and try to view the help file then.

If you did that (installed the app just like an EU would do), check the install directory to make sure "YOUR" PDF help file is in there...

I am not sure if TSB has any size limitations on the help file, you will have to wait for T to respond for that...

As I said, check the install folder for the APP and see if your PDF help file is there. Also, if it is, try to open it and see what happens that way...

Jonathon,

The help file does not come up after installing the new software and running the the software program just like an EU would do. I looked at the file in c:\programs\ but I do not see any PDF. I think it is that the help file is not being attached during the creation phase. The program works well otherwise.
