Not that you don't have enought to think about . . .

This concerns the Photo Editor. When we create software with this editor, the tool that governs scale intalls with the arrow set all the way to the right. This means we can only reduce the size of an image never increase the size. To restate, the software opens with the Photo Editor set at 100%, which is at the right most setting on the little scale bar. I would like to see the 100% mark set in the middle of the bar so that we could allow for increase in image size as well as decrease in image size.

I have included a screenshot to help explain what I'm trying to describe.

Hi,

Just my 2 cents on this.

There's a fundamental problem with increasing the size of an image. Even using a high end tool like Photoshop you rapidly degrade the image quality, even for a small increase in size.

The software has to invent info to add in, info that doesn't exist in the original image.

Reducing the size is comparatively easy because you are removing info and rebuilding the image to the new size.

Grab Gimp (it's free) and try increasing the size of an image in that, you'll quickly see what I mean.
