Might I suggest a feature for the forums? How about a moderator post only forum section where threads can be started by Thomas and/or moderators just containing update release information including version number, major fixes and updates listed, and any notices concerning the specific version. One thread for each release but not allowing general forum posting or responses just to keep the integrity of that forum section.
This might alleviate some of the bug issues where people mention that their version is a few versions old due to not knowing that an update was available.
