Hey Thomas...getting any sleep :D
Hope your well Mr T :)

I noticed that these extra skins come from DevExpress.BonusSkins.v9.2.dll
and was wondering if there is a way to edit these with a utility or app.
Reason is you have a Halloween type skin, a cupid type skin but it would
be cool to edit these themes and add NICHE specific colors...like a car
type theme (for mike i think) or garden/skiing/trucking.. well any type
niche really...is it possible or are you gonna force me to goto Elance
and get a bonus-skin editor developed and sell it to you...lol  I'm
kidding off course 8^) Oh...my ears are ringing Thomas..is that a good
sign :p

I think what you are looking for is a resource editor.

Been a while since I played with one so I'd have to do some research.

Be careful though, it's possible to break things using one. Plus there's the problem of getting it into your installer.

Don.

New to TSB Pro and was wondering if there is any skin / color that seems to sell better than others, or is more appealing to market place?

Not sure if your apps will be niche specific, but, I have a site which sells "collectible" based software apps. Those users tend to like the imaginary theme best...

I also have a slew of "gaming" related apps and any dark theme seems to be liked best.

On my medical based software, users tend to prefer the office green (not sure if it has to do with all of our local medical officials wearing those green scrubs, but regardless, that one does best)

Of course, these are based on MY findings only, so not saying they will necessarily be best for you.

Also, what I like to do is ask my customers in a follow up email. It seems like something a little weird to do, to email a customer and say "would you like a different skin", lol... and lots of times, I get a "what different does it make" type of response, BUT, many times I have customers thrilled to get a "custom" version (that's what they think they're getting anyways, lol) and that has resulted in many more sales...

Hope this helps, at least a little anyway. In your TSB journey, if you find a theme working better for you, please be sure to post back as well and let us know of your findings.
