Photo Editor

Hi.

I have tried for hours to figure this out... No luck so I have to ask if you do not mind.

Setup a test version of the photo editor with my splash screen and icon. Installed it.

When I start it up and try to use it, there seems to be buttons missing. You do not allow videos as attachments, so have put it here:

There are no buttons on the left or a place to click and load as in the docs. What am I missing here?

Having same issue here with photo edit.
Have reinstalled brander, and redownloaded all files
and reinstalled with no luck.
However, the tiger viral affilate program works ok so far when test running.

Try right clicking on the window and select customizations. There should be a field on there that you can drag onto the form.

Thanks Thomas, will give that a try.

But, why is the software not ready to go? Was under the impression that all I should have to do is brand, not build.

Please don't take me wrong, I really want to learn and do not mind the building. Just trying to figure all this out.

Gave it a shot on right clicking and customizing. Really do not see where to add all the buttons like in your example photo editor. Trying to read the docs as I go along, but totally lost.

Then after trying I get the error (screenshot). Could not close that window no matter how many times I clicked "OK". Had to use my task manager to end the program.

Is there anywhere I can see how to add these buttons?

Sure once I see how this is done it will become clear and I will feel ready stupid:D for not getting it.

Terry, that link pretty much sums it up....
when you are in that photo editor window shown in your screen shot,
do the right click > customize layout > and a menu pops up.
Drag the Web Graphic block into the Photo editor, and the options for
the editor will appear.. i have been experimenting with dragging all the
blocks in and playing around with them, seeing what they do, resizing them, etc...

Glad you got it sorted, the answers are all here....some where, and once the basics are mastered, the rest will soon fall into place, just takes time and patience to dig deeper and find out what a great product this is ;)

Never got it to work fully. Get the menu to appear by following your instructions but none of the buttons are clickable even after building.

Just appears I am in over my head here.

No picture Thomas. It is just something I am missing. Wish I could get the hang of it, just being totally blonde here. Maybe I will grasp before subscription expires, lol Been sitting at the hospital with my mom and trying to get it working, maybe it is just the distractions.

Check out the help file link I posted above. It will help you understand the Photo Editor.

Relax, this will all make sense. Just concentrate on the more important things like your mom.

I figured it out! I was not resizing the box after adding and could not see nor add an image. Solved. It was of course right in front of my eyes all along.

Now a few other questions.

1) When saving the image there are a few formats. But the editor only saves in PNG, just changes the extension. Is this normal?

2) Have looked around and have not found an easy way to add a simple text link. Just want to brand the software and place a link to my site. Could you point me to the correct area?

3) Is there a way to allow people to brand the software with their info? Maybe using the free brander? Thought this may be a good selling point when offering to my list.

Really appreciate the help and patience.

1. No, it should save in other formats.

It all depends on the what you want Terry. I do think that people who have no idea of programming do better with these applications. They just learn it without having any preconceived ideas.


I take no offense. Jumping from one help section to another won't really help you understand the process. There is a process and once you get it you see how easy it is. That section you posted is in the Software Object window. The help files will show that if you read through the Software Objects section.


I do know others have been able making some great software. Maybe you just have too much going on in your life.


At least you tried. :)
