Life, Interrupted

Just when you take things for granted - on 12 1/08 I had a mild heart attack; further evaluation revealed a need for bypass surgery (12/14). Back home today (12/18). Got some ideas, but not right away. I'll be looking forward to communicating...

Sorry to hear about your health problems Rich. Wishing you all the best on the bypass. On the bright side, it was a mild heart attach and not a fatal one. My father had a heart attact at 56 and passed away from it.

Hope you'll keep us updated once you return from your surgery so we aren't left wondering.

Like I said, returned home yesterday - 12/18...You are right, I do appreciate life even more...

I am glad you are alright Rich.

I went through this with my father. He had a stroke and lost a lot of his feeling in the right arm. We kept telling him to get into a doctor but he swore it was an allergic reaction to advil. :confused:


When he did go into the doctor he was rushed into the emergency for a double bypass. The doctor said he was a time bomb waiting to happen.

It is crazy to think that surgery is as common as it is today.
