View Full Version : Banner Object Reference Error

Pro version 2.0.0.15

Have not tried multiple banners.

Just created a new object from scratch - consisted of a "person" object and a single banner - added it to an existing program and got this message:

The "Application\Views\DetailView[@ID='agentinfo_DetailView']\Layout" node contains several child nodes with the same "Main" key.

That leads me to believe that I may be doing something wrong, but not sure what it is.

Thanks!
Scott

Did you try downloading TSB again and installing. I was getting that error when trying to run the program and then Thomas made another update but kept the same version number.

Hey Thomas,

I'm having the same issue as mentioned above - any guidance or fix for getting around this?

I'm adding the object as a way to add marketing/branding images easily to customize the software - and didn't include it in my original modeling of the software.

Want to be able to quickly change the associated image and web address before building a new exe for distribution.

Should I be doing this in the brander versus TSB Pro?

Thanks!
Scott

I spoke too soon - this issue is still occurring - but the other one has disappeared - any help is welcome.

Thanks!
Scott

Scott, send me your layout file. Next time, please start a new thread or your post will get lost.

Thanks,

Thomas

Hi Scott,

I did some testing on your layout file and the error goes away when you add a editor. You have one object with no editors which seems strange to me.

I will have to dig down more to see where it is coming from. This should keep you from continuing your project since you will have editors on the Software Object.

Hi Thomas,

I don't get the same result - when I add an editor (email in this case) to the logo object, I still get the error on my end...

Not sure why we are getting different results.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!
Scott

Hi Scott,

It is a strange error.

When you first run it errors.

When you uncheck the list and detail view it runs fine.

I then recheck the list and detail view and it runs fine.

So try unchecking the list and detail view and then run it. It is runs fine then go back and recheck it.

I think it is gremlins...
